Hi! I’m Sara Mastbaum, author of the Degrees of Desire and Inner Circle series, available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. It’s great to meet you! I write contemporary romance about hot nerds, powerful families, complicated relationships, and the unexpected ways love reshapes the lives we think we have planned.

I wrote the Degrees of Desire series from 2017 - 2019 and the Inner Circle series from 2019 - 2023. For some reason, I just kind of, like…let Degrees of Desire languish on my hard drive for seven years. Inner Circle was previously published on Amazon as the Pedigree Series.

Wondering where to start? Degrees of Desire is a fast-paced series of spicy romcoms. It follows a tight-knit circle of elite Boston academics through career and personal upheaval, plus a lot of crazy hijinks like figuring out unhinged marketing tactics for a startup brewery and weathering Twitter scandals involving d*ck pics and shoe-throwing. Inner Circle is funny, too, but a little less spicy and with a more emotional focus. Both series are eminently bingeable, so you can’t go wrong (unless by “wrong” you mean staying up till 3 a.m. on a work night to finish them). The series also share a universe, so you are guaranteed to see familiar faces in every single book! (You’re also guaranteed an HEA. No depressing books here.)
